Description

Are you a proficient problem-solver who is adept at creating action plans based on business needs? The Business Analyst will be responsible for the documentation, analysis, and elicitation of business and technical needs across multiple business units. To be successful in this role, you must have exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to communicate technical and business requirements alike.

Major responsibilities

·      Determine and analyze KPIs at a product level to establish experience success, failures and next steps through iteration

·      Conduct secondary market research

·      Write detailed user stories and acceptance criteria covering multiple user-types

·      Utilize tools for basic analytics to inform product decisions and show measurable outcomes of product releases

·      Utilize and synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to continuously drive product improvements

·      Work on cross-functional team to translate customer needs and technology directions into product definitions

·      Deliver high-quality experiences to end-users at a feature level

·      Actively participates in trade-off discussions between scope and schedule

·      Identify risks at a feature level and participate in mitigation planning

·      Maintain existing internal Access applications that are critical to business, while simultaneously working with internal stakeholders, including Product and IT, to transition these point solutions to our integrated Product Platform suite of applications. This position requires strong Visual Basic skills in Microsoft Applications, including Excel and Access

·      Develop new software product concepts, designs, and/or enhancements to existing product design that reflect market and user requirements

Requirements

·      Requires a bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, public health, or information technology

·      Requires at least 6 years of experience in product management consulting or entrepreneurship

·      Strong Visual Basic, MS Access development experience

·      Strong knowledge of relational database concepts and schemas

·      Knowledge of Agile product development concepts and methodologies

·      Ability to quickly configure point solutions to meet immediate needs, while working with Product and IT stakeholders on long term solutions
