We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Tax Preparer in Maine. In this role, you will be providing remote tax preparation services for small businesses and individuals. You will be working with various accounting software systems such as Drake Tax Software and Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software.

Responsibilities:

• Provide tax preparation services for small businesses and individuals

• Utilize accounting software systems to prepare and file tax returns

• Handle customer inquiries in a detail oriented and timely manner

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records

• Use Drake Tax Software and Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software for tax preparation

• Perform data entry tasks as needed

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must for this role.
• Experience with Drake Tax Software is highly desirable.
• Strong Customer Service skills are required to effectively communicate with clients.
• Must possess accurate and quick Data Entry skills.
• Familiarity with Thompson Reuters UltraTax CS Software is a significant advantage.
• Must have experience with Ultra Tax.
