Plan Review Contractor (Remote Position)

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Plan Review Contractor in the Financial Services industry. This role is based in San Mateo, California, and provides the flexibility of remote work. As a Plan Review Contractor, you will be primarily focused on reviewing 401k statements and migrating data into a new database, along with managing various other tasks. This is a part-time role with hours fluctuating around 10-20 hours per week. Some weeks may move into 40 hours. This is a 6-month contract with possible extension.


Responsibilities


• Scrutinizing standard 401k documents and identifying crucial data points

• Migrating data from 401k statements into a new database with high precision

• Utilizing Google Docs and a proprietary in-house database for data entry and document control tasks

• Managing a volume of 7-10 documents daily with a 24-hour turnaround on processing forms

• Assisting with reporting needs based on the data collected

• Communicating effectively via Slack or similar chat platforms

• Adapting to fluctuating work hours, preferably aligning with East Coast time

• Collaborating with the team to alleviate the workload of current employees

• Ensuring high attention to detail while handling complex documents

• Upholding remote work capabilities and ensuring efficient work-from-home environment management.


Requirements

• Mastery of data entry tasks is a key requirement for this position.

• Proficiency in document control is necessary.

• Familiarity with 401k - RRSP Administration is desired.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Able to work with repetitive workloads.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.

• A high degree of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, is expected.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion is necessary.
