We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Santa Clara, California, 95054, United States. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be part of a dynamic team, primarily focused on handling accounting tasks and assisting with special accounting projects.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately manage and update customer accounts
• Efficiently deal with customer inquiries and provide appropriate solutions
• Process accounting tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) efficiently
• Use Microsoft Outlook for communication and coordination
• Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of all customer credit records
• Actively participate and contribute to special accounting projects
• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary actions if required.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is required, with the ability to manage and organize emails, schedule appointments, and perform other essential tasks.
• Solid understanding and experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, expense reports, and payment transactions.
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering accurate results.
• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in an accounting clerk role or similar is desirable.
