Description

We are offering a contract for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer position in Salt Lake City, Utah. This role involves both back-end and front-end development and engaging with senior leadership to discuss reports.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement ETL processes for efficient data extraction and transformation.
• Utilize Business Intelligence technologies to enhance business operations and decision making.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Collaborate with the C-Suite to explain and discuss generated reports.
• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all BI solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in BI technologies.
• Test and troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software to ensure optimal performance.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets and convert them into actionable business insights.
• Work closely with the IT team to integrate BI systems with existing IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical assistance and support in matters related to BI and reporting tools.

Requirements

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer or in a related role
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) and Business Intelligence Technologies
• Proficiency in using Power BI for data analysis and visualization
• Experience with ETL (Extract Transform Load) processes, including designing and implementing data extraction, transformation, and load strategies
