Description

We are offering a contract for a Data Scientist role in New York, New York. The selected candidate will join our team, focusing on the implementation of robust algorithms, the development of machine learning models, and the integration of these models into our production systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement algorithms for the detection and identification of graphics in live video streams.
• Develop and fine-tune machine learning and computer vision models for pattern recognition and segmentation of graphics.
• Implement Optical Character Recognition systems for text extraction from graphics.
• Ensure real-time processing capabilities for handling live video feeds without compromising quality or performance.
• Collaborate with team members for the integration of models into our production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Conduct research and experiment with innovative computer vision techniques and algorithms for video analysis and graphics replacement.
• Work in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure alignment of the product with user and business needs.
• Utilize skills in Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, Apache Spark, Cloud Technologies, Data Visualization, Algorithm Implementation, Analytics, Apache Hadoop, API Development, and AWS Technologies.

Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Apache Kafka
• Proficiency in Apache Pig
• Working knowledge of Apache Spark
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies
• Proven skills in Data Visualization
• Experience in Algorithm Implementation
• Strong background in Analytics
• Proficiency in using Apache Hadoop
• Ability to perform API Development
• Experience in AWS Technologies
