We are offering a permanent employment opportunity in the retail industry located in Cape Coral, Florida. The role is for a Sr. Software Engineer who will be instrumental in handling backend development, client side scripting, and cloud technologies among other tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the backend of the software using advanced technologies.
• Contribute to the development of business logic to enhance functionality and user experience.
• Utilize Atlassian Jira for project management and workflow control.
• Implement client side scripting to optimize website performance.
• Leverage cloud technologies to ensure the scalability and reliability of the software.
• Conduct AB Testing to ensure the software meets quality standards.
• Work within an Agile Scrum environment to deliver projects on time.
• Utilize Ajax for creating asynchronous web applications.
• Develop APIs to integrate the software with other systems.
• Use ASP.NET for server-side programming to produce dynamic web pages.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of Software Engineering, preferably within the retail industry.
• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, with a deep understanding of its applications in project management.
• Extensive experience in Backend Development, with the ability to design, implement, and maintain complex systems.
• Demonstrated experience in developing Business Logic, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Client Side Scripting, with a focus on creating user-friendly interfaces.
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies, with the ability to deploy and manage applications on the cloud.
• Experience in AB Testing, with the ability to conduct tests to improve the effectiveness of software systems.
• Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies, with the ability to work in fast-paced, iterative development environments.
• Experience with Ajax, with a focus on improving the user experience by asynchronously updating web content.
• Proficiency in API Development, with the ability to design, build, and manage APIs.
• Extensive experience in ASP.NET, with a deep understanding of its applications in web development.
