Description We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Tax Preparer to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare 10+ trust tax returns, investments, retirement plans, 1040 tax returns and brokerage statements. Responsibilities: - Prepare trust tax returns for clients.
- Utilize extensive experience with 1040 and its derivatives to carry out tasks effectively.
- Process and import K1 brokerage statements into the system.
- Ensure all client needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Act as a consultant on trust tax matters.
- Experience with investment tax returns
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure thoroughness in tax return preparations.
Requirements - Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, specifically dealing with 1040 tax returns and brokerage statements.
- Exceptional knowledge of trust tax returns preparation is essential.
- Proficiency in importing K1 brokerage statements into the system.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
