Description

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Sr. Accountant to join our team. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for managing customer credit accounts, processing applications, and maintaining accurate records. This position is based in San Francisco, California, 94103, United States. The job offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage credit card operations
• Handle and reconcile deferred revenue
• Maintain accurate financial records within Microsoft Excel
• Execute tasks in a timely and precise manner
• Manage fixed assets
• Carry out month-end processes and flux analysis
• Utilize Banner/Colleague systems effectively (not a mandatory requirement)
• Ensure the accurate recognition and mapping of revenue
• Prepare financial statements
• Oversee lease accounting activities
• Work autonomously with minimal instructions

Requirements

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations

• Proficient in managing General Ledger

• Ability to process Journal Entries accurately and efficiently

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledge of Deferred Revenue accounting

• Familiarity with Lease Accounting

• Experience with Banner software
