Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity in the local government sector in Coral Gables, Florida. A .NET Software Engineer is sought to join our team, with the role involving collaboration with our internal teams to create software designs and architecture. The position will also entail writing clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages, testing and deploying applications and systems, providing technical support, and developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with internal teams to establish software design and architecture

• Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages

• Test applications and systems prior to deployment

• Deploy applications and systems smoothly and efficiently

• Revise, update, refactor and debug code when necessary

• Improve existing software for optimal performance

• Develop comprehensive documentation throughout the software development life cycle

• Provide technical support and expertise on applications to internal teams

Requirements

• Proficiency in .NET and .NET Framework is essential for this role
• Comprehensive knowledge of C# - Sharp is required
• Must have experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure is necessary
• Prior experience in the local government sector is preferred
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A team player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
