Description We are offering contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Project Manager WFH/Remote, based in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves the implementation of a new contact center team and associated technology across multiple physician practices. As part of our team, you will be supporting the Contact Center leadership with developing and executing project plans, coordinating activities between various business units, and ensuring projects meet their stated objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing the implementation of a new contact center team and associated technology • Developing and executing project plans, including business requirements, process mapping, testing, rollout planning, and communication • Coordinating activities between Parallon and HCA business units, physician practices, technical PMs, and development teams • Monitoring and reporting on project activities and statuses within published timelines • Managing multiple business owners and team members relationships to accomplish project activities • Proactively identifying and managing risks, issues, and cross-project dependencies • Ensuring completion of detail oriented deliverables as required by each project plan • Facilitating the creation of toolkits to support field-based implementations • Utilizing Parallon Project Controls and Standards to ensure projects meet their stated objectives • Communicating proactively and taking ownership of risks/issues to facilitate effective outcomes in a timely manner
Requirements Education: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
Experience: • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience preferably in the healthcare industry • Healthcare hospital system hospital supply chain workforce management financial services technical/systems experience a plus • HCA HealthTrust or Parallon experience a plus
Certificate/License: • PMP certification preferred but not required • LEAN and/or SIX SIGMA certification a plus but not required
Physical Demands/Working Conditions: Requires prolonged sitting some bending stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard photocopier telephone calculator and other office equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record prepare and communicate appropriate reports. Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work is an office environment. Work may be stressful at times. Contact may involve dealing with angry or upset people. Staff must remain flexible and available to provide staffing assistance for any/all disaster or emergency situations.
