IT Security Analyst (Fully Remote)

Compensation: Up to $110,000 per year

Are you a motivated IT Security professional with a passion for engineering practices and compliance? This is a unique opportunity to join a growing team as an IT Security Analyst in a fully remote role. Work alongside a Security Engineer to build scalable security processes, achieve SOC 2 compliance, and contribute to a strong security posture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with security vendors on SOC 2 compliance, penetration testing, and CIS CSC controls.
• Automate audit controls using SaaS platforms to enhance SOC 2 engagements.
• Manage security evaluations for potential and existing clients.
• Audit and update processes and policies to ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Implement security best practices, processes, and application security standards.
• Oversee vulnerability management and security awareness training platforms.
• Prevent data loss, breaches, and service interruptions through innovative solutions.
• Evaluate and adapt to data privacy and security regulation updates.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in cybersecurity and data privacy.
• Hands-on experience with SOC 2 audits, CIS CSC controls, and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of OWASP standards and application security best practices.
• Familiarity with securing Google Workspace and GCP Command Center.
• Expertise in Mac operating system security.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Security certifications (e.g., CISSP) are highly preferred.
