Description

We are offering a contract for a Software Engineer role in Manasquan, New Jersey. This role is primarily focused on the development and maintenance of Drupal websites, with the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse team on projects for various clients.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the development and maintenance of Drupal websites, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and contribute to system architecture, application security, and database systems.
• Develop full-stack features and build reusable Drupal modules, templates, components, and code.
• Conduct code reviews, manage releases, and commit code while driving best practices within the team.
• Guide the team on various aspects of development, including Drupal, PHP, front-end, and infrastructure.
• Effectively interact with project stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Produce detailed engineering documentation and system architecture artifacts.
• Optimize applications and database queries for maximum performance.
• Address and resolve engineering roadblocks through creative solutions and teamwork.

Requirements

• Position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Proficiency in Android Development is necessary for this role
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira is crucial for managing project workflows
• Backend Development skills are essential for the role
• Proficiency in Bug Tracking is necessary for maintaining software quality
• Strong knowledge of C++ is required for core development tasks
• Experience in AB Testing is necessary for optimizing software performance
• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology is crucial for project management
• API Development skills are essential for building and managing software interfaces
• Proficiency in ASP.NET is required for web application development
• Strong knowledge of CSS is necessary for front-end design and layout
• Experience with Drupal is crucial for managing content on the web
• PHP skills are required for server-side scripting and web development
