Description

• Application migration to the multi-cloud in the project delivery cycle with hands-on experience migrating customers’ projects to the cloud
• You will migrate and modernize applications on the Azure cloud. This hands-on role will require you to work closely with clients, partners, and other business units to build cloud infrastructure and ensure consulting engagements are successful
• This role includes ownership of technical, commercial, and service elements related to cloud migration project engagements along with building IaaS, PaaS infrastructure landing zones
• Implement cloud migration techniques and workflows (on-premise to Cloud Platforms)
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
• Must have verifiable hands-on Azure Cloud migration and DevSecOps skills.
• 3+ years of experience working with Azure Cloud
• Must have assessed and migrated more than 10 applications to Azure Cloud (.Net /Java / Legacy COTS)
• 2+ years of experience with designing cloud implementation architectures and solutions using PaaS and IaaS.
• Strong understanding of migration tools like Azure Data Migration Tool and Azure Migrate Strong understanding of Application provisioning and automation
• 3+ years of experience with application transformation and modernization data migrations projects
• 2+ years of experience with various Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CICD), Source Code Repos and configuration management tools, technologies, and best practices
• 3+ years of experience with performing discovery and assessment of customer's overall applications portfolio, IT and business priorities, and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap
• 2+ years of experience with architecting and designing solutions using cloud technology paradigms like Serverless, Containers, Microservices 1+ years of experience with implementation experience of solutions using cloud technology paradigms
• Experience migrating database technologies like Oracle, MySQL, SQL and understanding of NoSQL, MongoDB
• Experience with configuring auto-scaling, performance tuning, including load balancing, web servers, content delivery networks (CDN), Caching, etc
• Strong understanding of Azure networking and DR configuration.
• AKS experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge of software development methodologies like Agile Scrum, KanBan, etc
• Broad understanding of enterprise project life cycle
• Experience architecting and deploying multi-tiered applications
Education, Certifications, or Experience
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer
• ITIL Foundations
