Description

As an IT Helpdesk Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our IT systems and services. You will be responsible for monitoring our help desk system, triaging tickets, and providing prompt resolutions to various technical issues. This role requires a strong understanding of Windows Autopilot, O365, Azure, Local Active Directory, and general troubleshooting techniques. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure smooth operations and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Monitor the help desk system and prioritize incoming tickets. Utilize Windows Autopilot for streamlined device provisioning. Handle ticket types including general inquiries, password resets, and account creation/closure. Provide expert support for O365 applications and services. Leverage Azure experience to address cloud-related concerns. Manage tasks related to Local Active Directory. Utilize A+ certification knowledge for efficient troubleshooting. Assist with troubleshooting and support for Windows-based systems. Minimal support required for macOS environment. Collaborate effectively with team members and report to Randy, the IT Manager. Demonstrate excellent communication and soft skills to provide a positive user experience.

Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field OR relevant experience in IT support roles. Proven experience in IT support roles, preferably in Tier 1 or Tier 2 positions. Proficiency in O365 applications and services. Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services. Familiarity with Local Active Directory administration. A+ certification is a plus, showcasing general troubleshooting abilities. Solid understanding of Windows operating systems. Prior experience with Windows Autopilot is desirable. Basic knowledge of macOS environments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach. Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
