As the Financial Analyst, you will deliver daily support to the accounting and finance departments as well as perform routine assignments and solve routine/standard problems with limited discretion. This is an entry-level role. You should be able to manage uncertainty and a generous amount of information. Offered on a short-term duration, this is a contract / temporary position.

Responsibilities

- Manage several aspects of the monthly/quarterly/annual close process (i.e. journal entries, account reconciliations, expense analysis, and trend analysis, variance analysis)

- Generate ingenious alternatives and ideas to reduce costs and grow financial performance of a company

- Assess and query a vast amounts of data

- Offer support in the organization of monthly financial reporting and other business data

- Team up on annual budgeting process

- Reinforce the monitoring and maintaining internal accounting controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements

- Very likely have to describe hard financial subjects to non-financial staff members in special projects

- Determine veritable results at the corporate and division levels

- Utilize skill set in ensuring adequate controls and procedures

- Capable of assisting internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits

- Solidify and inspect budgets and income statement forecasts

Requirements

- Less than one year of experience

- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

- Experience with Azure SQL Database

- Comprehensive knowledge of Corporate Procurement

- Expertise in Global Procurement

- Foundational knowledge in App Data

- Proficiency in account analysis

- Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Attentive, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

- Candidate must have substantial computer experience including word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight
