Customer Service Representative

Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract basis in Washington, District of Columbia. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their inquiries and concerns are handled with care and efficiency. Responsibilities:
• Respond promptly to inbound customer inquiries via phone, ensuring all questions are addressed effectively.
• Provide accurate information regarding products, services, and order statuses.
• Assist customers in placing orders and completing transactions with attention to detail.
• Document and update customer interactions in company systems to maintain accurate records.
• Resolve customer issues and complaints with a focus on delivering excellent service.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Handle outbound calls when necessary to follow up on pending issues or provide updates.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines during all customer interactions.
• Maintain a positive and attentive demeanor to create a welcoming experience for all customers.


Requirements

• Prior experience in a call center or customer service role.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to manage high volumes of phone calls while maintaining quality service.
• Proficiency in order entry systems or similar software.
• Problem-solving skills to address customer concerns effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in recording customer information.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and customer needs.
