Description

We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join our team in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In this Contract to permanent role, you will oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization while supporting staff and managing administrative tasks. This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a background in office management.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate activities of office staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Respond to lead inquiries related to home improvement services and maintain accurate records.
• Manage inventory and ordering of office supplies to prevent shortages.
• Perform receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and answering phone calls with attention to detail.
• Oversee accounts payable tasks, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
• Maintain organization of office supplies and equipment for optimal functionality.
• Support administrative functions by preparing reports and maintaining documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to address operational challenges and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative processes.
• Provide training and guidance to staff as needed for skill development.


Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in office management or similar roles.
• Proficiency in administrative tasks, including inventory management and accounts payable.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills for handling inquiries and coordinating with team members.
• Experience with receptionist duties, including phone management and visitor interactions.
• Ability to supervise staff effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with office supply management and procurement processes.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
