Sales Assistant

Description

We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to support our sales team in Oxon Hill, Maryland. This is a Contract position where you will play a key role in facilitating successful sales operations and maintaining excellent customer relationships. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
• Assist the sales team in managing daily activities and ensuring smooth operations.
• Communicate with clients to address inquiries and provide accurate information about products or services.
• Support inbound and outbound sales efforts by coordinating leads and follow-ups.
• Maintain detailed records of sales transactions and client interactions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop strategies for achieving sales targets.
• Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide updates to the management team.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within sales workflows.
• Contribute to the creation of sales presentations and promotional materials.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all sales activities.


Requirements

• Previous experience in a sales or administrative support role.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with inside sales and direct sales practices.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound sales processes effectively.
• Proficiency in using sales-related software and tools.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sales data.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
