Robert Half Contract Talent is assisting one of our clients with finding a contract Budget Analyst/Financial Operations candidate!


ABOUT YOU

You are a thought leader that is looking for a challenging and rewarding financial consulting position that supports federal government clients. You will work in teams of 2-4 consultants to identify and implement solutions for client problems. In addition to providing innovative solutions to complex problems, you will be an integral part of the government client’s financial operations, which includes:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Budget Management

Experience in one or more of these financial disciplines in the defense contracting, federal government, and/or large corporate setting is required. 


Responsibilities:

Manage the financial resources of one or more customer program elements

Develop, coordinate, and maintain integrated financial services, including

  • Budgeting
  • Management / Financial Reporting
  • Cost Analysis

Exercise effective control over the financial resources of the organization

Coordinate and synthesize financial and management data to interpret financial results of operations for all levels of organization management

Advise on, develop, coordinate, and / or carry out financial policies, procedures, & plans

Review, analyze, evaluate, and report on program accomplishments in financial terms


Advise and assist senior leadership by providing sound financial management advise needed to

  • Make program management decisions
  • Establish organizational goals and objectives
  • Determine the probable effects of alternative solutions




Requirements

Bachelor's degree and requisite number of years of experience

Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, time management, work prioritization skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization

Capability to drive an independent workstream in the context of a broader team project

Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
