We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Back End Developer in Austin, Texas. This role revolves around software development, focusing on Ruby, Python, and Java, and will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our tech stack. Expect to work with cutting-edge technology in the telecom industry, creating and implementing innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Ruby, Python, or Java software systems.
• Manage and utilize NoSQL Databases (e.g., Cassandra, MongoDB) and Time-Series Databases (e.g., InfluxDB).
• Process real-time data using tools such as Kafka, Spark, Elastic.
• Utilize cloud platforms and tools such as AWS Lambda, S3, EC2, and Kubernetes.
• Implement AI and ML frameworks, tools, and applications (TensorFlow, Pytorch, SciKit-learn).
• Ensure the security and compliance of our systems using tools such as OpenSSL, OWASP/ZAP, Fortify.
• Develop extensive test cases and test plans to cover all functional requirements.
• Continuously learn and innovate within the field, adhering to ethical guidelines.
• Use Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking.
• Implement client-side scripting and cross-platform solutions using technologies such as Ajax, AngularJS, CSS.
• Leverage your knowledge of design frameworks and Ruby on Rails for backend development.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Backend Development is crucial for this role
• Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Bug Tracking is required
• Experience with Client Side Scripting is desirable
• Knowledge of Cross-Platform development is highly advantageous
• Proficiency in Ajax, AngularJS, CSS, and other related technologies is required
• Experience with Design and Framework is essential
• Experience with Ruby on Rails is a must
• Knowledge of Ruby Rails is beneficial
• Candidates must be able to work well in a team and have excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary
• A keen eye for detail and a strong ability to multitask is important
• A degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desirable
• Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the specified location.
