Description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our NetSuite project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, extensive experience with ERP systems (specifically NetSuite), and a passion for driving successful system implementations. This role is critical to our business transformation and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities: - Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resources.
- Define project tasks, milestones, and deliverables, and ensure proper resource allocation.
- Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of the NetSuite implementation project from initiation to closure.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team, management, and external vendors.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and deliver status reports, presentations, and project documentation to stakeholders.
Team Leadership: - Assemble and lead a cross-functional project team, including IT, finance, operations, and external consultants.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, providing clear direction and support.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance and feedback to ensure project objectives are met.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs, and report to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- System Implementation:
- Oversee the configuration, customization, and integration of NetSuite with existing systems.
- Ensure data migration and validation processes are effectively executed.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure issues are resolved prior to go-live.
- Training and Support:
- Develop and implement training programs for end users to ensure a smooth transition to NetSuite.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and system functionalities.
Requirements Education: - Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or relevant project management certification preferred.
- NetSuite certifications are preferred, but not required
Experience: - 10 years+ of project management experience, with at least 5 years leading ERP systems, specifically Netsuite
- Proven experience with NetSuite implementation is highly preferred.
- Experience in the sports manufacturing industry is a plus.
Skills: - Strong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
