Description

You will be responsible for building a team, developing a plan, implementing solutions, and communicating project progress to lead the success of technical JD Edwards/Cloud projects. We are in search of an experienced JD Edwards Project Manager who will oversee the end-to-end execution, control, and deliverables for assigned statements of work, including managed services engagements and discrete projects. Managed service clients will vary in size. Discrete projects typically range from medium to large sized projects but may include smaller projects from time to time. This role requires a combination of demonstrated experience in managing applicable technology projects, along with the aptitude, attitude, and energy to drive forward progress in an environment with many competing priorities.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• 10+ years experience managing JD Edwards projects
• Direct client support and large project management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project or other project planning tool
• Knowledge of Visio or another tool for process modeling
• Desired: Experience in a professional services or consulting company
• Desired: Experience with OpenAir
• Desired: PMP® certification

Soft Skills:

• Facilitation - Ability to facilitate large meetings with a KS2 and client participants from a variety of roles and backgrounds and ensure that the meeting meets its stated objectives, proceeds per the agenda and is respective of all participants' time
• Communication - Highly proficient in communicating with a professional and approachable tone in all mediums
• Listening - Highly proficient in listening for understanding and with empathy and ensuring speaker feels listened to
• Proactive - Takes action to achieve goals, correct deficiencies, prevent problems and assist other team members as needed
• Presentation - Advanced ability to prepare professional presentations and confidently present to clients
• Decision Making - Advanced ability to make recommendations using a fact and principle-based approach that prioritizes client needs, company needs, employee needs and any legal or compliance requirements
