We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Machine Learning Engineer in Los Angeles, California. The role involves the development and implementation of AI algorithms, specifically for image and video synthesis. The selected candidate will work remotely and collaborate with a team of experts in the field.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement generative AI algorithms, such as GANs, diffusions, view synthesis, depth estimation, or style transfer.
• Utilize strong programming skills in Python and experience with PyTorch in daily tasks.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts.
• Resolve complex problems and challenges using excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Collaborate effectively within an English speaking environment.
• Implement software engineering best practices, including version control and testing.
• Utilize skills in Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, Apache Spark, Database, Algorithm Implementation, Analytics, Apache Hadoop, API Development, AWS Technologies.
• Gain experience with video synthesis and manipulation, 3D rendering and image-based rendering.
• Enhance skills with 3D human pose and shape estimation.
• Work within local time zone but allocate 3-4 hours per week to sync with the team in the US time zone.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Apache Pig, Apache Spark, Databases, Algorithm Implementation, Analytics, Apache Hadoop, API Development, and AWS Technologies is required.
• A minimum of three years of experience in Machine Learning Engineering or a related field is necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to develop machine learning models and algorithms.
• Strong programming skills preferably in Python, Java, or C++.
• Excellent understanding of machine learning algorithms, processes, tools and platforms.
• Experience with distributed data/computing tools: Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, MySQL, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving ability.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work under pressure.
• Strong commitment to professional development and continual learning.
