Operations Manager (Remote Position)

Description

We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Operations Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing business processes, technology systems, and service providers for a distributed virtual team. This role involves overseeing the operations of all systems, evaluating and improving business processes, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:
• Facilitate communication relating to accounts payable, billable/non-billable charges, cash flow, invoices, and credit card reconciliation processes.
• Support outreach to clients regarding overdue invoices.
• Manage and ensure smooth operations of all systems.
• Create and maintain documentation of all systems.
• Evaluate and improve business processes, including integration of processes.
• Evaluate, implement, upgrade, and oversee technology-driven systems.
• Troubleshoot and respond to issues in a timely and effective manner.
• Act as an interface between vendors and independent contractors.
• Evaluate and recommend new vendors and independent contractors, and manage their onboarding.
• Support partners in connection with renewals of insurance, web domains, and memberships.
• Provide analytical problem-solving services to discern patterns from data.
• Develop contingency plans for various operational aspects of the business.


Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services
• Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Strong skills in Data Processing
• Expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning
• Knowledge of About Time software
• Understanding of Accounting Functions
• Experience in Auditing
• Familiarity with Budget Processes
• Proficiency in Check Processing
