Description We are seeking an IT Manager based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is integral to our team as it involves managing the help desk, networking, and VPN setup, among other responsibilities. The IT Manager will be part of a small team, reporting to the VP of Digital.
Responsibilities: • Manage the IT help desk, ensuring efficient and timely resolution of technical issues. • Oversee networking systems to ensure secure and efficient data transfer. • Implement and maintain VPN setup for secure remote access. • Communicate effectively with the VP of Digital and other team members to align on IT strategies. • Ensure a high level of technical proficiency to troubleshoot and resolve issues. • Maintain a strong knowledge of Information Technology principles, concepts, and methodologies. • Stay updated on Information Technology security principles and methodologies. • Manage user accounts and software procurement and updates. • Administer SAS and other software platforms like Google Suite. • Utilize skills in Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, Database, EO/IR systems, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management.
Requirements • Proven experience in IT management roles • Strong knowledge of Cisco Technologies • Proficiency in Cloud Technologies • Adequate understanding of Database management • Familiarity with EO/IR systems • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Proficiency in Active Directory • Knowledge of Backup Technologies • Familiarity with Computer Hardware • Experience with Configuration Management • Understanding of Contracts management in IT projects • Excellent problem-solving skills • Strong leadership and team management abilities • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field is preferred.
