Description

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk in Los Angeles, California. This role involves working in the Accounting industry, where you will be responsible for handling a variety of tasks related to customer applications and records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Process and sort premium receipts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Accurately perform data entry duties for Divisions I and II and CEA.
• Maintain and organize the Accounting file systems through filing and scanning.
• Abide by Federal and State laws and regulations in all tasks.
• Handle sensitive customer information, cash, checks, and banking information with utmost responsibility.
• Use skills in Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Billing to perform tasks and resolve customer inquiries.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.

Requirements

• Possess at least 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in data entry operations
• Competency in using Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge and experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in billing processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask effectively
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred.
