Our client is seeking an Analytics Implementation Engineer to join their team. This role is pivotal in supporting their Global Marketing Analytics team by developing, implementing, testing, and optimizing digital tracking tools. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, test, and optimize digital tracking tools to support our digital marketing measurement infrastructure.

• Write, debug, and maintain clean, scalable custom JavaScript and HTML code via tag management systems.

• Maintain and work on the optimization of our tracking and server-side use case implementation to improve overall functionality, speed, and stability of our measurement capabilities.

• Work closely with the Global Marketing Analytics team, Digital Advertising Team, and IT Teams in support of our global measurement and performance-advertising infrastructure.

• Conduct research on the state of the art in Marketing Analytics technology and recommend new processes to improve data reporting and automation.

• Take responsibility for the technical tag implementation and optimization of our tracking.

• Troubleshoot and analyze complex issues related to JavaScript, APIs, Data Discrepancies, and general front-end code languages, identifying possible solutions.

• Develop, maintain, and configure tag management systems to support web measurement and 3rd party advertising solutions.

• Ensure institutional knowledge through the development and maintenance of technical documentation for systems and processes implemented.

• Work closely with QA and other functional partners to ensure that Digital Measurement is working as expected.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is mandatory.
• Experience with Tealium is required.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate effectively with different departments.
• Must have a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must have a strong understanding of the service industry.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Must have strong technical skills and be comfortable with data analysis tools and software.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and standards is a plus.
• Must be comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
• Proven track record in analytics implementation within the service industry is desirable.
• Must have a continuous improvement mindset and be open to learning new technologies and tools.
• Strong organizational and project management skills are necessary.
• Must have the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
