Description

This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity within a dynamic environment. The key function of your role will be to develop and modify the Vista platform for reporting services. You will also be tasked with creating an Azure DevOps pipeline and establishing a reporting database.

Responsibilities:

• Modify the application server installer to allow for setting values for a reporting database.

• Modify the Vista Client Service to create transactional and report server data sources.

• Add the report server location to the application’s configuration.

• Modify SSRS Report installer to allow for establishing a reporting database.

• Modify the Vista application to be able to designate reports that run against the transactional database.

• Modify the Vista application such that reports run against the appropriate database: Reporting/ Transactional.

• Create an Azure DevOps pipeline that will modify an existing resource group to establish an HA SQL cluster cluster with a read only replica database.

• Maintain accurate customer credit records.

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action.

Requirements

• Proficient in Web Development and familiar with .NET Framework and ASP.NET
• Experience with database management and SQL
• Knowledge of Configuration Management and Continuous Integration (CI)
• Familiarity with DevOps and Azure DevOps
• Proficient in Microsoft Word
• Experience in creating Financial Notes and Deliverable
• Ability to work with Data Sources and perform Cluster Analysis
• Experience with Transactional systems
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
• Experience with application servers and WCF Services
• Familiarity with Reporting Services
• Knowledge of WinForm and InstallShield
• Proficiency in AP Style
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
