Working as a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every day
- Work with internal and external auditors to coordinate quarterly reviews and testing
- Arrange monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
- Complete other projects as required
- Realize compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
- Formulate Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
- Continually improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Requirements - SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
- Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
- Strong familiarity with journal entries
- Bank reconciliations experience
- QuickBooks experience highly desired
- Foundational knowledge in month end closings
- Solid understanding of account reconciliation
- Self-starter and strong ethical standards
- Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
- Skilled with ERP systems
- We are searching for candidates that are proficient in financial reporting
- Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills
- Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks
- Minimum 5-7 years of overall general accounting experience
- Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
- Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
