Are you ready to revolutionize software development and deployment? We're seeking a dynamic DevOps Engineer I to spearhead our efforts in optimizing our delivery pipelines and ensuring seamless integration between development and operations teams. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our ability to deliver top-notch products efficiently and reliably at scale, making a significant impact on our company's success.


Job Duties

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cutting-edge CI/CD pipelines on the Azure DevOps platform.

- Provide expert guidance to development teams on deployment best practices, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

- Automate and streamline deployment processes to boost efficiency and reliability, enabling rapid and seamless application delivery.

- Monitor and manage the performance and health of Azure resources and services, ensuring optimal functionality at all times.

- Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues swiftly to minimize disruptions and ensure continuous delivery of applications.

- Dive into the world of Azure services, mastering tools like Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.

- Contribute to maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using cutting-edge tools like ARM templates or Terraform.

- Learn and implement top-notch security practices within the Azure environment, ensuring robust protection for our systems and data.

- Foster a culture of collaboration and integration between development and operations teams, working hand in hand to achieve shared goals.

- Document processes, procedures, and configurations to build a comprehensive knowledge base for ongoing optimization and learning.


 

Must Have’s

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Solid understanding of Azure cloud services and concepts.

- Proven experience in implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated delivery pipelines.

- Familiarity with tools like Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash.

- Hands-on experience with version control systems, particularly Git.

- Eagerness to learn and a genuine passion for technology and automation.

Requirements

Preferred:

- Relevant certifications like Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals.

- Previous experience administering DevOps applications.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

- Leadership qualities and the ability to mentor fellow engineers.

- Experience in production support of pipelines and tools.

- Familiarity with monitors, alerts, and observability tools and practices.
