Description

Robert Half is seeking a Systems Administrator with a thorough knowledge of Desktop Support, Systems Administration, and general network connectivity. Key responsibilities

- Improve large-scale distributed systems by changing and creating new designs, architectures, standards and methods

- Keep servers, load-balancers, and data storage in service across various locations

- Participate in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance evaluation, and system tuning

Requirements

- Experience in high bandwidth HTTP traffic, content delivery and caching

- Proficient in crafting, analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems

- Command of clustered and virtual storage solutions

- Windows Azure experience

- Microsoft Azure experience

- Microsoft Windows Server experience preferred

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows

- Microsoft Office 365 experience highly desired

- Network operating systems knowledge - as well as knowledge of programming or scripting language - is highly valued
