Your responsibilities in this role

- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems

- Grant 2nd and 3rd level support

- Conduct and keep an eye on all installed systems and infrastructure

- Maintain, configure, install, and test system management tools, operating systems, and application software

- Compose and sustain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

- Provide backup, redundancy strategies, and security

- Review and check application performance for potential bottlenecks, distinguish possible solutions, and do business with developers to execute those fixes

- Connect with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

- In a proactive manner provide the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

Requirements

- This position requires a candidate with solid networking knowledge

- This position will be the best fit for a candidate with proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems

- Solid scripting skills

- You might be a good fit for this position if you have experience with monitoring systems

- Foundational knowledge in proxy servers

- Knowledge of Kubernetes

- Comprehensive knowledge of Google Cloud Platform

- API gateways experience highly desired

- Strong familiarity with Google Kubernetes Engine

- 3+ years of relevant experience - Candidates with solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks will be the best fit for this position

- Applicants should have experience with virtualization and containerization

- Candidates who have experience with automation software will be the best fit for this position
