Are you experienced in working with relational databases? Does designing, building and developing database architecture excite you? If you have a strong command of query writing and an interest in developing systems, you might be the Azure Data Engineer Robert Half is looking for. They have an exciting opportunity in the Banking industry for you to check out. This long-term contract / temporary to hire position is remote and working on EST.

What you get to do every single day

- Plan out, code, and design relational databases

- Provide documentation and training to Database Administrator. Provide training to other users as necessary

- Generate a database schema based on application related function and type of the data

- Build a method for storing future database data

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in Azure Data engineering / database development

- Familiar with common issues associated with database operations

- Quality experience with Synapse

- Practical knowledge of Machine Learning

- Azure DevOps experience

- General familiarity with Azure Logic Apps

- Proficiency in PL/SQL Development

- Well-founded grasp of Spark SQL

- Foundational knowledge in Snowflake

- Earlier work involving Metadata

- Extract transform loads experience highly desired

- Proven knowledge of Python

- Azure Data Lake experience

- Wide ranging experience with Azure Databricks

- Familiarity with query coding and relational databases

- Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role
