Accounts Receivable Specialist (Remote Position)

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our team based in Columbus, Georgia. This position offers a contract employment opportunity in the Pharmaceutical Clinical Trials industry. The role involves high-volume data review, reconciliation of invoices, and communication with vendors, among other duties.

Responsibilities:

• Review and accurately code invoices into the NetSuite accounts receivable system.

• Verify and reconcile discrepancies in vendor invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.

• Maintain customer accounts and communicate with vendors regarding invoice inquiries and discrepancies.

• Assist in month-end closing activities, such as reconciling accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger.

• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve accounts receivable processes.

• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in data entry and digital communication.

• Handle customer contracts and engage in clinical research as necessary.

• Utilize skills in Accounts Receivable (AR) and NetSuite.


Requirements

• Minimum of 3 year of experience in accounts receivable or a related position in the Clinical Research industry

• Proficiency in data entry with high attention to detail

• Strong digital communication skills for maintaining effective relationships with clients and team members

• Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting software

• Knowledge of accounts receivable practices and principles

• Familiarity with customer contracts and ability to understand and adhere to contract terms

• Basic understanding of clinical research for effective communication with research departments

• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and observing data protection guidelines

• Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines

• Strong analytical skills and ability to identify discrepancies or inaccuracies in financial data

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
