Robert Half Full Time Engagement Program is looking to hire two Senior Accountants to join their organization. This Program provides benefits to include medical, dental, 401(k), vacation and several, bonus packages that you are eligible to receive.

We are hiring for both biotech and technology clients in the Bay Area that need additional support in their Finance Department for the 3rd and 4th quarter to better prepare for their year-end and audits coming up and must have public company experience to follow SOX Compliance, U.S. GAAP, and able to work independently and follow company's policy and procedures.

-This Senior Accountant will be supporting the Corporate Controller or VP of Finance on a team of 4 - 6, full-time employees,

-Supporting companies in the Bay Area so must be able to work a hybrid model to include two days in the office and 3 days from home, no exceptions,

-Responsible for balance sheet accounts, posting of journal entries, month-end close and able to work overtime when necessary.

-Involved with month-end, quarter-end and year-end close,

-Responsible for assisting with audits, working with both internal and external auditors,

-Must be able to communicate and collaborate with both Senior Management and support staff,

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - 4 years

Software: Looking for NetSuite, SAP, or a top-tier accounting software that is cloud based

Requirements

-4+ years of operational experience from start to finish,

-Must have public company experience

-SOX experience is critical in order to be successful with public companies
