Robert Half Healthcare Practice is looking for Medical Biller for a reputable healthcare client in the East Bay.

The Medical Biller will be responsible for:

- Submitting medical claims (and corrected claims) for payment

- Obtaining prior authorizations

- Following up on unpaid claims with insurance companies

- Submitting appeals/medical records to insurance companies

- Accurately posting insurance and patient payments

- Assisting patients billing inquiries

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for the Medical Biller position candidates must have:

- Minimum 1 year of medical billing experience

- Understand private and commercial insurance billing guidelines

- EMR/EHR experience. Epic, NextGen & Allscripts are a plus!

- High School diploma or equivalent required
