Are relational databases your strong suit? Do you find designing, building and developing database architecture exciting? Database Developers with a strong command of query writing and an interest in developing systems will be interested in Robert Half's new job opening. This position is an opportunity for long-term contract / contract / contract / temporary employment, based in the San Jose, California area.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Generate a database schema based on data type and application related function

- Design, code, and carry new relational databases

- Build a method for storing future database data

- Supply documentation as well as training to the Database Administrator and other users, when necessary

Requirements

- Good understanding of query coding and relational databases

- Previous experience working as a Database Developer or a related role

- Knowledge and know-how to fix potential issues, and experience with industry standards for database operations

- Oracle experience desired
