Description Major Duties and Responsibilities • Prepare Initial and subsequent Loan Estimates (LE), review and input Fees and track delivery dates. • • Prepare Closing Disclosure (CD). • Communicate with Settlement Agents to obtain accurate closing costs prior to disclosure. • Track timely receipt and signature of the Closing Disclosure to begin required wait periods as soon as possible according to TRID. • Works closely with Compliance and Funding Manager in setting up effective delivery methods that will achieve efficient and timely closing. • Track Changes that occur after the Closing Disclosure is delivered to determine if re-disclosure is required at or before consummation. • Monitor and Track wait periods to ensure closing documents are not prepared prior to completion of the required wait periods. • Provide Daily payoff reports to Senior Management. • Ensure the accurate disclosure of loan terms once the member has decided to proceed with their submission. • Assist with opening memberships. • Communicate with Members regarding timeline for disclosures and due dates for documents. • As the position evolves, so will the responsibilities and as such, additional duties may be assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
Required Skills • Understands and comprehends the Mortgage Loan Process from application through closing. • Solid time management skills and the ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills. • Strong computer skills including a fundamental understanding of MS applications, and database management. • Ability to build and sustain relationships with members through marketing and other techniques. • Maintain a strong attention to detail; be very organized and analytical; possess an aptitude for figures and accurate data entry.
Preferred Skills • Knowledge of TRID, including the proper completion of an LE and CD. • Understanding of FNMA guidelines. • Mortgage Sales and/or processing experience. • Mortgage Lending Knowledge. • Ability to perform functions in a fast-evolving work environment. • Problem solver with excellent analytical skills.
Interpersonal Skills • Demonstrated judgment and decision-making ability. • Excellent organizational, team-collaboration, member service skills.
Experience • Minimum of 1-2 year experience in Real Estate or Finance. • Some college experience preferred.
