Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Data Analyst. The Data Analyst role will involve preparing financial reports that summarize trends for managers. In this role you will be compiling, interpreting, and reporting information on a variety of data types. This Data Analyst position is for someone who is deadline driven and highly analytical.

Your responsibilities in this role

- Call out relevant insights from compiled analytical reports

- Handle management requests to extract, manipulate, and organize data

- Supply key decision-making data for market assessments, forecasting and further investigation

- Examine corporate reports, such as quarterly earnings, to build sound financial reports

- Implement and execute data mining projects, utilizing investigative, organizational, and analytical skills

Requirements

- Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

- Experience with various data models

- Previous experience with data management and manipulation

- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, data analysis or similar role

- BS/BA in Accounting, finance, or economics

- Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and reporting applications, inclusive of queries, pivot tables, and V-lookups

- High attention to detail as well as critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Able to work independently with a minimal amount of oversight
