Description

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for implementing new business solutions on

the Microservices Platform. The ideal candidate will have a background in Computer science or

a related field with experience in: Python, Node.js, or Go and the creation and management of

RESTful APIs.

Requirements

The Senior Software Engineer will be a member of the Software Engineering team

dedicating to the integration of internal & customer-facing systems in Eargo

? The SSE will work with other engineers in coming up with frameworks and advanced,

robust and scalable solutions that will help our customers and users to benefit from

experiencing a great interaction with our systems.

? The SSE will typically be implementing solutions that require interaction with other team

members and other areas of the engineering team like e-Commerce, and Corporate

Systems.

? The SSE will also need to work closely with members of several areas of the

organization, including Product, Marketing, and Sales to understand the needs and

propose solutions.

? Build scalable, maintainable, and robust code

? Work with the Data Team to automate solutions where appropriate.

? Writing new Serverless APIs in Python using AWS (Amazon Web Services) Lambda

Functions, AWS DynamoDB, Microservices, AWS Glue Jobs, IAM,S3

? Managing ongoing Serverless API development projects on AWS Microservices platform

? Writing enhanced API’s utilizing already existing RESTful API’s

? Writing data to AWS DynamoDB and extracting it based on requirements

? Write data to a relational database and extract it using SQL and MySQL workbench

based on the requirements
