Robert Half is hiring a Systems Engineer in Santa Clara, California for a hybrid work schedule environment! The Systems Engineer is a key contributor to the maintenance and optimization of the client's infrastructure and cloud. The ideal System Engineer has a solid Microsoft Azure background. Responsibilities

- Configure, monitor and maintain system performance as well as physical and cloud servers

- Provide issue resolution and system connectivity within cloud applications, servers and other software.

- Ensure procedures are well defined to maintain system security through access controls firewall, and backups

- Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support

- Consistently deliver the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

- Govern and oversee all installed systems and infrastructure

- Lend a hand to the design of information and operational support systems

Requirements

- 3+ years' experience in Systems Engineering or similar role

- Microsoft Azure experience required

- Plus if you have experience supporting AWS

- It is needed for applicants to have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows PC

- Applicants should have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks

- You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with Zscaler, Crowd strike, and Zenos or similar software
