You could be the Software Developer that Robert Half's client in the Marketing/PR industry is seeking for a job opportunity. If you can be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company, you will be successful at this position. This long-term contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Foster City, California area.

What you get to do every day

- Join forces with Scrum team to present correct work estimates

- This job is for someone who can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems

- Solve and deliver production support

- Render clear and consistent notifications around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

- Regularly perform code-review and collaborate with other developers

Requirements

- Less than one year of experience required

- Candidates familiar with scrum will be preferred

- Candidates who have knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF will be preferred

- Applicants with experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., are preferred

- Candidates with familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) will be the best fit for this position

- You might be a good fit for this position if you can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments

- Experience documenting, crafting, and testing APIs

- This position requires experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc.
