Robert Half is actively seeking Dispatcher candidates to fill a role in San Leandro, CA! The ideal Dispatcher will have experience managing a high volume of calls, and will be experienced in data entry. The successful candidate will be very detail oriented and will thrive in a fast-paced environment. Having a great attitude and a keen eye for details is essential to succeeding in this role. Quick learners are expected to do very well here!

Responsibilities:

• Primary responsibility is facilitating the daily independent contractor services, and resolution of service, routing, and delivery issues
• Analyze freight volume in relation to daily independent contractor availability
• Compiles statistics and reports for branch operations
• Serves as the main communication contact for independent contractor drivers
• Embrace diversity and foster a respectful environment for both employees and customers

Requirements

Requirements:

• 1 year or more experience in Dispatcher role (preferred, but not required)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Advanced 10-key typing skills
• Extremely detail-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills and logical thinking
• Must be detail oriented and highly organized
• Must possess excellent customer service skills and work well under pressure
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment
