Description

Robert Half is looking for a Cloud Engineer who is an experienced and passionate technology professional to develop and maintain infrastructure for application deployment and data processing. This is a highly collaborative role. The Cloud Engineer will join a team comprised of other Cloud Engineers and Software Engineers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and Technology Leaders.

This is a fully remote, 6 months contracting role. Experience with Kubernetes is a must have.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

o Design, build out and maintain production infrastructure to support our internal and external systems

o Collaborate with developers and other team members to ensure infrastructure meets requirements and conforms to best practices

o Develop and improve operational practices, procedures, and documentation

o Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

o Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a team player

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• BS in Computer Science or a relevant field, or equivalent relevant work experience

• 5+ years of experience as a Dev-Ops/Cloud Engineer.

• 3+ years of experience in AWS.

• Experience of designing/managing Kubernetes

• Experience producing architecture diagrams for enterprise audiences

• Experience with Docker / Containers, Linux, scripting & automation

• Scripting experience with Infrastructure provisioning tools (Terraform)

• Experience implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery solutions

• Experience using Github Actions

• Experience with Python/Deploying Python Systems
