Robert Half is working on the 2022 Elections to help support their seasonal staffing needs. We are looking for 16 Field Technicians who have a basic understand of hardware set up. Start Date: October 31st

Duration: 12 Days Straight including Weekends – Your schedule is October 31st to November 11th with no days off. A LOT OF OVERTIME FOR THIS ROLE. In the state of California, if an individual has worked more than six consecutive days, overtime is paid for the seventh day and beyond. That means days 7 through 12 are all overtime!

Schedule 8AM – 4:30PM with overtime in the evenings possibly

Pay: $27.50 an hour for regular time, $41.25 for Overtime, $55.00 for Double Time

Location: There are 45 Vote Centers throughout San Mateo County that you will need to be able to drive to. You will commute anywhere from 25 – 75 miles a day. Mileage is reimbursed starting when you depart from your report to location to the next. The ride to and from the assignment is not reimbursable. Reimbursement rate is $0.625 per mile

Responsibilities

• Testing functions of electronic voting equipment
• Driving personal vehicles regularly to each Vote Center on an assigned route to make sure that all equipment is properly functioning
• Assisting in delivery, connection, and testing of voting equipment at Vote Centers
• Use of personal vehicles is mandatory for Field Technicians
• Vote Center routes will be assigned based on geography and location

• Having a vehicle to commute to Vote Center Destinations
