Robert Half is looking for a Desktop & AV Support Specialist in Los Altos, California. The Desktop & AV Support role will provide user support and customer service on company supported hardware, applications, and platforms as well as providing support for AV in conference rooms and events. The Desktop Support Specialists will also be responsible for monitoring all tickets in our ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution and closure. To thrive in this role, you should be a natural problem solver and have a strong sense of ownership. Essential Duties:

·      manage the day-to-day technical support function

·      Provide IT and AV Support ( 50/50)

·      Assist End Users,

·      Image laptops- Windows and Mac

·      providing conference rooms troubleshooting

·      assist with AV support in company events

·      Assist with desk set-ups; ie monitors not working, adapters not working

·      On the Software side: give access to users, create user, groups, permissions, and management

·      troubleshoot and resolve desktop computer issues (PC, Mac and laptop) and peripherals.

·      Be able to work in a Windows and Mac Environment with some linux (a plus)

·      assist with audio/visual equipment

Requirements

Top Requirements

·      3+ years in a corporate IT role

·      Audio/ Visual-troubleshoot, ie set up zoom or google meet

·      Experience with Windows and Mac OS

·      Linux Nice to have

·      Comfortable and understanding of Audio & Visual Systems

·      Experience using Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom

·      Familiarity with Creston
