Description

If you're a seasoned Medical Billing Specialist with a knack for analysis, Robert Half has a terrific opportunity for you to check out. Based in the Concord, New Hampshire region, this position would be a short-term contract / temporary to hire opportunity. This is a career-building opportunity for a self-starter who's looking to make their way into healthcare.

How you will make an impact

- Coordinate with numerous working teams to guarantee quality of data and uniformity

- Notify insurance companies and patients of account charges

- Manage elements of specific patient accounts, such as billing and reimbursement

Requirements

- Excellent data entry skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Previous experience working with an electronic medical system required

- Prefer 2 years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle

- Hands-on knowledge of MS Office Suite

- Medical billing experience desired

- Excel Formulas experience required

- Strong familiarity with cash posting

- Strong understanding of explanation of benefits (EOBs)
